It's really impressive how some bands manage to sound timeless. Who can forget the masterpiece "Don't You (Forget About Me)", that appeared on the ultimate teen movie "The Breakfast Club" and the beautifully nostalgic "Someone Somewhere in Summertime" and of course the power classic "Alive and Kicking". This year the audience of En Lefko Festival will have the unique opportunity to watch the Simple Minds live in a flashback of their best moments, through the Greatest Hits Live Tour, a celebration of the 35 year career of the band and the official release of their new collection "Celebrate - The Greatest Hits". The charismatic Jim Kerr will take the stage and prove, for one more time, that the Simple Minds are "Alive and Kicking" !

Producer, DJ and Sound Designer based in Venice, Italy. He soon moved to the forefront of the contemporary disco scene with his concept album "Horror Disco” on Bearfunk Records UK, which garnered critical praise for its dashing display of all of Italo’s delights without the pastiche.
Moroder-esque basslines that inspire dancing rather than dread. Bottin makes music only an Italian can make... Take a youth spent against a background of old Italian Giallo soundtracks, add in late 70s Italian disco influences, a touch of free and easy west-coast vibe and a smattering of kitsch. That just about half describes Bottin.

Baby Guru is an ever-evolving musical organism conceived by three childhood friends, in a basement, at the end of 2009. Tired of the typical rock band thing, they lay emphasis on spontaneity and unexpected inspiration, while they cultivate an obsession with the kraut rock legacy, pop melodies, psychedelic music and mama Africa percussion experiments. They remain incurably charmed by the analog warmth of proto-electronica and the raw power of garage punk, while they demonstrate a driving perspective of instinctive grooves and vocal lines that range from meditative to Dadaistic.
Their sophomore LP, "Pieces", was released in October 2012. It was distributed throughout Europe via Rough Trade and V2 Records and the band was invited to perform at Eurosonic Noorderslag and Europavox (plus some gigs across the Netherlands). Baby Guru's third LP, "Marginalia", was released in March 2014.
Baby Guru are: Prins Obi, King Elephant and Sir Kosmiche.

Mostly known for his highly successful career with Culture Club (150 million record sales), but Mr. George O'Dowd’s solo career (Boy George), certainly had much more to give, demonstrating that the classification as "pop star of the 80's" is nonetheless one-dimensional. With hits like "Little Ghost", "Everything I Own", "Generations of Love", "Crying Game" , "Out of Fashion" and collaborations like the amazing "Why Go" with Faithless, the "Innocence is Lost" with Groove Armada and "Somebody to Love Me" with the sought after producer Mark Ronson, while surprising with covers such as "Starman" (of his personal hero, David Bowie), “Funtime” (Iggy Pop) and the recent “Video Games” (Lana Del Ray).
En Lefko Festival welcomes back Boy George for the first time since the 1985 infamous appearance, performing both his hits from Culture Club and solo career but also from his new album, "This is What I Do", for which The Guardian gave him already a 5 star rating and described it as “come back of the year”.

Mixing that electro thump with the sample-heavy boom-bap of hip-hop, DJ/producer Gramatik was born in Portoroz, Slovenia, but he always seemed bound for Brooklyn. It was an older sister with a large cassette collection who turned the young Gramatik on to tapes of funk, jazz, R&B, and other genres that naturally lent themselves to dancefloors. By the time he was 13, he was making beats on his PC, and by the time he was in his late teens, his productions had earned him a loyal fan base and, eventually, the attention of the Colorado-based Pretty Lights. The like-minded producer signed to Gramatik to his Web label, also dubbed Pretty Lights, and released his Beatz & Pieces, Vol. 1 album in 2011.

In just a few years, Vito De Luca, the Italian-Belgian producer behind Aeroplane, has established himself as party-starting DJ, remixer du jour -with his spacious cosmic-disco remakes of Grace Jones (William’s Blood), Friendly Fires (Paris) and Sebastien Tellier (Kilometer)- and, via his own keyboards riff-based melancholic beauties like Caramellas, or My Enemy, leader of the nu-disco and Balearica scene. Aeroplane’s debut album, We Can’t Fly, was an in-depth trip into the previously mentioned balearics with a big dose of AOR and Moroder-influenced disco, which was more a statement than an attempt to conquer dance floors.
